Where hope and healing intersect
Nalini Channapatna Prasanna
MSW, LCSW, C-DBT
A holistic trauma therapist dedicated to helping adults and couples heal from childhood trauma and grief.
Lead an authentic and purposeful life
The clients I work with often face challenges that make daily life feel overwhelming. Simple tasks can seem daunting, and connecting with others becomes difficult. Fear of judgment or rejection may lead to withdrawal, resulting in feelings of loneliness and isolation. Symptoms such as low self-esteem, trust issues, and intense emotional dysregulation can make it even harder to seek support. Many also experience disrupted sleep, vivid nightmares, and flashbacks that bring back painful memories. While these struggles can feel insurmountable, healing is possible—you don’t have to face it alone.
Welcome to my practice, where healing meets hope. I’m Nalini Channapatna Prasanna, a compassionate and dedicated licensed therapist. I specialize in helping adults and couples heal from childhood trauma, navigate grief and loss, and engage in deep self-reflection. Together, we’ll address these challenges, nurture your resilience, and empower you to reclaim a life that feels authentic and purposeful. With empathy and a client-centered approach, I am honored to walk alongside you on your journey to mental wellness.

CBT including CPT and PE for trauma healing
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) are evidence-based treatments that help individuals process trauma. These approaches promote healing, reduce emotional distress, and support resilience.
Trauma healing through Eastern Philosophy
Healing from trauma is most effective when the mind, body and spirit are considered as one. By embracing principles of Eastern philosophy, clients can cultivate mindfulness, self-awareness, and acceptance to guide their healing journey.
“You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”
